VERDUGO MOUNTAINS 10K TRAIL RUN & HIKE
2022 RACE CANCELED
Dear Friend of the Verdugo Mountains 10K,
Unfortunately, due to the instability of the hillside on the Brand Motorway, the City of Glendale has to cancel the 2022 Verdugo Mountains 10K. The hillside experienced rockslides impacting the safety of the course. After multiple assessments and exploring alternate locations, there was no other option.
We would like to offer the option to defer your race entry to 2023, but unfortunately, due to financial logistics, we are only able to offer full refunds at this time.
For those who paid online via Racewire.com, refunds will be processed in the coming weeks. Thank you for your patience.
MAIL IN or WALK-UP at Customer Service Office:
The City of Glendale will process full refunds. You do not need to do anything at this time. We will process the refunds in the form of a check that you should expect to receive in the mail in 6 to 8 weeks.
Please email Verdugo10K@glendaleca.gov if you have any questions.
Thank you for your passion, your dedication, and your understanding.
We are optimistic that we will be back for 2023.

The course begins in beautiful Brand Park, climbs steadily to one of the highest points in the Verdugo Mountains, and then heads back downhill for a fast descent to the finish. Breathtaking views of the L.A. Basin, the San Fernando Valley, and the Pacific Ocean await you at every turn. From the race’s highest point, at 2,670 feet above sea level, the panoramic view of the San Gabriel Mountains is truly spectacular.
